European Economic and Social Committee

All – Poland Alliance of Trade Unions (OPZZ) has been participating actively in the works of the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels.
Since May 2004 OPZZ has had its two representatives in the Employees Group of the Committee:
- Stanisław Różycki – Deputy President of the Council of Higher Education and Science of the Polish Teachers’ Union (member of OPZZ),
- Tomasz Jasiński – Senior Specialist, International Co-operation and European Integration Section of OPZZ.
The process of the nomination for the period 2006 – 2010 has been already completed. The Polish government and the Council of the European Union positively approved the candidatures of the colleagues Stanisław Różycki and Tomasz Jasiński for the post of EESC members for the next four years.
